Members of Guns N’ Roses and Duff McKagan’s Loaded collaborate with the new band Velvet Chains

Velvet Chains released ‘Tattooed’, the first of two singles from their promising debut LP to be released in September.

From Las Vegas, Nevada, this multicultural band is formed by American drummer Noelle Schertzer, Brazilian guitarist Laurent Cassiano, American Jerry Quinlan guitar and vocals and the Chilean bass player Nils Goldschmidt. They will release a total of 10 songs, with special guests such as Richard Fortus of Guns N’ Roses, and the strings of Jeff Rouse & Mike Squires of Duff Mckagan’s Loaded.

This band is “on fire”, reads a statement. Influenced by the alternative music of the nineties and rock music from the early 2000’ they mix riffs, melodic guitars and powerful vocals. “We breathe rock every day”, says the only Chilean in the band.

For their videoclip, the band worked with the renowned music video director Dean Karr (Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne and Velvet Revolver) while the photography will be in charge of Kat Benzova, known by working with Aerosmith, AC/DC and the aforementioned GnR, among others.

Initially formed as another cover band in the USA, Velvet Chains took advantage of their rock band formation and the benefits of Las Vegas to compose an album full of original songs.

A must for Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden or Pearl Jam fans.
