Formed in 2020 in Mexico City, KÄLAD has rapidly gained recognition in the metal scene, standing out for their unique style that blends metalcore, djent, post-hardcore, and modern symphonic metal.
In May 2024, the band released their highly anticipated debut album, “ÄRKAMINE,” which has been praised for its sonic complexity and deep themes surrounding the human spiritual awakening.
Their success has also been recognized by critics, with “ÄRKAMINE” being named “Best Album of the Year” by the Metal Pedia Awards and receiving nominations at the international FemMetal Awards.
