The UK-based alternative metal band Neonfly, led by Mexican guitarist and songwriter Frederick Thunder, has announced their highly anticipated return to Mexico this coming March. The band will join the legendary Italian group Lacuna Coil for three exclusive shows in the country:

Mexico Tour Dates:

  • March 27 – Guadalajara – C3 Stage
  • March 28 – Monterrey – Café Iguana
  • March 29 – Mexico City – Pabellón Oeste

With three studio albums and a solid trajectory across Europe, Neonfly has shared the stage with some of the most iconic names in rock and heavy metal, including Alice Cooper, Dragonforce, Escape The Fate, Magnum, Gamma Ray, and Sonata Arctica. They have also played at some of Europe’s most prestigious festivals, such as Download, Bloodstock, Rock Imperium, Masters of Rock, and Metalfest.

Following the release of their third album The Future, Tonight in 2021—produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Motörhead, Bullet for My Valentine)—the band made a strong return to the live scene in 2022.

That same year, Neonfly made their Mexico debut supporting Epica, quickly sparking interest among Mexican fans. The band later consolidated their presence with a successful headlining tour in October 2023.

Throughout 2023 and 2024, Neonfly maintained an intense touring schedule in Europe, performing alongside Escape The Fate and Cyhra, and appearing at festivals in Norway and the UK. A major highlight was their recent performance at the 31st edition of Ripollet Rock Festival in Spain, where they played in front of nearly 10,000 people. The show was fully recorded for an upcoming live DVD.

In June 2024, Neonfly also released the EP Master Tapes, recorded live in the Czech Republic, and they are currently working on new music, expected to be released in early 2025.
